You're Not the Boss of Me

Boss Reflected
You're Not the Boss of Me

"We don't need no education. We don't need no thought control. No dark sarcasm in the classroom. Teachers! Leave those kids alone!" - these are the opening lyrics to one of the most famous anti-authority songs ever written: Pink Floyd's "The Wall.

The minor chords of this major tune ebb cast a dark vibe into the idea of following any established leaders. For those that might obey, well, they're just another "Brick in the Wall" - and the idea of submitting to any authority is tantamount to giving up your soul.

It's an easy idea to sell. Do your own thing. Be you. Be free. Rebel.  But does it work?
